3 INGREDIENT - Easy Snowflake Chocolate Pastry for Christmas ❄️☃️🎄 Low in sugar, really easy to make with kids (although a little messy as you can see) but sooooo tasty!!!
❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️

1 pack pre-rolled puff pastry
1/4 jar naturally sweetened chocolate spread
Egg for wash

Preheat oven to 200ºC/390°F.

Divide the pastry into two equal circles. Use the left over pastry to cut out little stars.

Lay the pastry onto a piece of parchment paper, then spread chocolate spread onto one side of the pastry. Then place the other circle on top. Use a small bowl in the middle of the pastry and cut the pastry into 16 equal parts. I find cutting into quarters first helps.

Twist each pastry piece, then brush over a little egg wash. Add the starts to the top, then transfer the pastry to a baking tray.

Bake for 15 - 20 minutes until golden.

Serve warm.

1/2 cup peanut butter⁠
4 tablespoons maple syrup⁠
80g rapeseed oil⁠
1/4 cup ground almonds⁠
1/3 cup cocoa powder⁠
1 teaspoon baking powder⁠
1/2 teaspoon baking soda⁠
⁠
150ml double cream⁠
24 strawberries with stalks cut⁠
⁠
🌟 HOW TO MAKE THEM⁠

Pre-heat oven to 170ºC.⁠
⁠
Whisk together the eggs, peanut butter, maple syrup and oil until smooth and creamy.⁠
⁠
Add the ground almonds, cocoa powder, baking powder and baking soda.⁠
⁠
Spoon into a well oiled muffin tin and bake for 15 minutes or until a skewer comes out clean.⁠
⁠
Leave to cool on a wire rack.⁠
⁠
Top each muffin with a little double cream, then turn a strawberry upside down and place on top. Repeat until all the muffins are covered. ⁠
⁠
Add the remaining cream to a piping back and add a small dollop of cream to the top of each strawberry.⁠
⁠
Lightly dust with icing sugar for a snow effect and serve.⁠
⁠
