Baby Friendly Cranberry, Pesto and Goat Cheese Bites
It’s party time!!! And that can only mean one thing Christmas Party Food! Whoop! Can you tell how excited I am? The best part about my Baby Led Feeding party foods is that they are perfect little bite sized portions for baby led weaning and they also look so amazingly cute when you have friends coming over too.
These little bites are super dinky and they look so awesomely festive. The pastry is so easy to make and uses flour, butter and a dash of water, roll and cut into little shapes. I used a crimped cookie cutter that was about 2 inches in diameter but you can use whatever you have there. They are so small that they cook really quickly in the oven and you can top whenever you are ready to serve to keep them as fresh as possible.
I like to top mine with a little homemade pesto and goat cheese, then place back into the oven so the goat cheese completely hugs the pastry. My mouth is actually watering writing this 🙂
Top with cranberry sauce, finely chopped rosemary and a little sprinkle of desiccated coconut. This makes them look so Christmassy and festive. They are the perfect party food appetizer for holidays!
You can serve this recipe warm or cold, but if you have put the pastry back in the oven to melt the cheese eat them warm. Trust me!
