Fish Pie Recipe

This mashed potato for baby and fish pie mix is really soft and easy for your child to manage with a preloaded spoon. My son made an enormous mess when he first ate it but he loved it! You can also easily make this ahead of time and freeze it. It has corn and peas tucked in there, too, and so it’s a well-rounded dish to add to your winter dinner ideas.

What’s in the Fish Pie Mix?

Three types of fish: haddock, white fish, and salmon, are combined with garlic powder, frozen peas and sweetcorn, olive oil, onion, garlic, flour, milk, and a bit of black pepper to form a thick, creamy base. Add as much garlic and onion as you like, or go light if your child’s sensitive to stronger flavors. Do what works for you!

Mashed Potato for Baby

Mashed potatoes are perfect for baby led weaning recipes. They’re so soft and easy to handle. And they don’t stain! (Win-win!) Baby led weaning 6 months recipes can work as long as your child can sit up unassisted and has grown out of their tongue-thrust reflex.
