How to make Breakfast Cookies

We have made this breakfast recipe nice and simple to make. Start by adding the oil to a mixing bowl. Then I recommend you press the bananas before opening them, which then helps to soften them. Then pee them and add to the bowl along with the egg, then using a fork, mash well until smooth.

Get your apples and peel them, finely dice and add these to the cookie mixture. Then a great way to help divide the mixture is to use an ice cream scoop, use this to divide the mixture into cookies. For smaller babies 6 months-12 months, divide the mixture into roughly 1 heaped tablespoon-sized cookies. Press the mixture down slightly using the back of the spoon.

Bake for 25-30 minutes, test them by using a a skewer into the cookie and making sure it comes out clean and the apple is soft.

Can I freeze cookies?

This is a great recipe to make ahead for the week. The cookies will keep in an air tight container for around 5 days, but you can always freeze the cookies ready for when you need them.
