Let’s face it, Halloween usually means bag loads of treats when the children go a’knockin to trick or treat. While I don’t want to be the ruiner of all good things I do believe that it is just too much. So when my little ones asked me to let them have a Halloween party I wanted to make sure I was adding a bit of goodness (of course!). This is especially so for younger little ones, who don’t actually need all the sugary treats and are happy with a healthier treat.

Pumpkin and chocolate might not be a combination you think would go well together, but I promise you it is delicious. These little balls of goodness are just that – full of goodness. Pumpkin is really high in beta-carotene which the body converts to Vitamin A (great for eyes). It is also a really good source of Vitamin C, is high in iron and magnesium too as well as many other vitamins and minerals.

Refined Sugar-Free

There is only 1 tablespoon of maple syrup in 16 of these yummy amazeballs, making them really low in even a refined-free sugar. Reducing the amount of sugar is our children’s diets will really benefit their lives in the long term. While these little bites don’t taste super sweet, they are just perfectly balanced to still make them taste like a treat.

Baby Weaning Treats

Babies don’t need lot’s of sugar in their diets, a piece of mango or pineapple is most definitely a treat in their eyes. These little balls are the perfect size for those little hands starting baby led weaning and they make a perfect baby led weaning treat too.
