I love, love, love green healthy smoothies, any combination. Once there is a huge handful of greens in there I will happily have one every single morning. When it comes to making smoothies I always go by the rule that it has to contain mostly vegetables and is sweetened with only a little fruit. This way it is healthy and not packed full of sugar. Yes, even fruit becomes a free-sugar when blended up so it is really good to be mindful about the amount of fruit we are eating.

"Blueberry

This recipe is packed full of spinach leaves and uses only 1/2 a banana and 1/2 a cup of blueberries. For us that is all the sweetness we need and let me tell you it is just beyond deeeeelicious! This smoothie recipe also makes yummy healthy smoothie ice pops too so perfect for teething babies. It takes less than 5 minutes to make and you will have really nourishing teething pops on hand always!
