Sometimes the simplest things in life taste the sweetest. Take watermelon for example. It is as juicy a fruit you will probably ever taste and is the epitome of summer. Watermelons are made up of over 90% water but did you know that they are also super nutritious too. Not only do they quench thirst they are an excellent source of vitamin C and also are a good source of lots of other vitamins and minerals.

Because of the water content when blended they turn into a delicious melon sauce that just begs to be frozen into a pop. These little wonders are made using only 3 ingredients although if you want you can just use the melon. The mint is refreshing and the lime just adds the zing and an additional kick of vitamin C. They make the best teething pops as they are pretty much non-messy and will cool down those rosey gums in no time.

Hope you like them and are all enjoying the sunshine 🙂
