Yippee because we love blueberries in our house. Our local fruit and veg store was selling 4 large punnets for \u20ac5 this week so I spent \u20ac30. Enough blueberries to fill an entire drawer in our freezer. They&nbsp;freeze really well, so this is definitely the time of the year to buy them in bulk. Wash them, portion&nbsp;into freezer bags&nbsp;to use for delicious smoothies and pies over the winter months when blueberries can be a lot more expensive.<\/p>\n<p>They are little heroes of the fruit world as they are so super good for you and your little ones. My mother instilled in us as children to&nbsp;eat our blueberries as they are rich in antioxidants but new&nbsp;research shows that they are also great for improving memory too! It looks super impressive I think for something that took less than 10 minutes to prepare and was&nbsp;presented to kids with lots of &#8216;oooouuu&#8217;s&#8217; and &#8216;ahhhh&#8217;s&#8217; and &#8216;I want to try first&#8217;. Not so bad for something that contains kale, beetroot and sweetened only with 1 banana and a few blueberries.<\/p>\n<p>We&#8217;ve tried this recipe using a delicious coconut milk and also have tried almond milk but you can switch it up&nbsp;to suit your own tastes.
