We have found the perfect match, just 2 simple ingredients to make our Christmas Bread Tree for one of our favourite Christmas snacks.

Method

  • Preheat oven to 180ºC/350ºC.Add flour and yogurt to a bowl and stir well until it comes together into a dough. If it is too sticky add a little extra flour, one tablespoon at a time. If too try add yogurt, one tablespoon at a time. It all depends on the thickness of your yogurt.
  • If the dough is too dry add a little extra yogurt. If the dough is too sticky add more flour one tablespoon at a time.
  • Additions: 2 cloves garlic crushed, 6 sprigs thyme leaves. Add and mix well into the dough.
  • Brush over a little beaten egg.
  • Bake for 20 minutes, then cover the outside rolls in foil and place it back into the oven for a further 15 minutes until the inside rolls are browned.
  • To serve, brush over some melted butter, finely chopped rosemary and thyme and a few sesame seeds.
