A delicious alternative to the regular store bought breads. This recipe is full of goodness for your little ones. Baby Led Feeding recipe for little hands.

Method

  • Preheat oven to 180ºC
  • Add the spinach, cauliflower, broccoli, carrot and parsley to a food processor and pulse until they resemble breadcrumbs. (You may have to do this in batches if you have a tiny food processor)
  • Pour all the ingredients into a large bowl then add the flour, baking soda, eggs and pepper and stir until they are totally combined.
  • Turn onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for about 25 minutes or until it has set.
  • Allow it to cool fully then flip over and peel off the paper. Cut into veggie sticks.

Recipe Notes & Tips

I cut the bread into little bite sized pieces, perfect for little weaning babies, then pop into a freezer bag using a sheet of parchment paper to layer them and prevent sticking. They defrost really quick and can be eaten warm (which I prefer) or cold. i just warm in an oven.
