Yummy oat cookie, perfect for little hands. These cookies make a lovely alternative to halloween sweets and are so easy to make. Baby led weaning cookies.

Ingredients

Method

  • Pre-heat oven to 180ºC.
  • Add the oats, buckwheat, baking powder to a bowl and give it a good stir to mix well.
  • In a separate bowl add the vanilla, flaxseed, maple syrup, coconut oil, cacao and peanut butter and mix well until it is smooth and silky, then pour into the oat and coconut mixture and stir until it forms a dough.
  • Shape the cookies into small baby sized cookies and place on a baking tray lined with parchment paper.
  • Bake for 15 minutes until slightly browned. Remove and cool fully before covering with chocolate.
  • Melt the chocolate in a bowl over a saucepan of hot water until melted, then dip each cookie in covering just one side.
  • Refrigerate for about 15 minutes until the chocolate has fully set.
  • Then enjoy!
