Add the oil to a mixing bowl. Then press the bananas before opening which helps to soften them. Peel and add to the bowl along with the egg, then using a fork, mash well until smooth.
Peel the apples, then finely dice and add to the cookie mixture.
Use an ice cream scoop to divide the mixture into cookies. For smaller babies 6 months-12 months, divide into roughly 1 heaped tablespoon-sized cookies. Press the mixture down slightly using the back of the spoon.
Bake for 25-30 minutes until a skewer comes out clean and the apple is soft.
Serve with a side of fruit for a really easy and quick baby-led weaning breakfast idea.
Store in an airtight container for 5 days or freeze.
