Are you ready for your Halloween Treats or Tricks? These creepy Witches Fingers Cookies are so convincing. Just make sure to dip into blood!

Ingredients

Method

  • Preheat oven to 180ºC/350ºF/gas 4.
  • Put the oat flour, bananas, baking powder, nut butter and rapeseed oil into a bowl and stir until fully combined. You can also use a food processor to make your job a little easier. It should resemble a very soft dough.
  • Take about one tablespoon of the mixture in your hand and roll into a long finger shape. Use your thumb to press down at the top to make a fingernail shape and use a knife to add lines on the knuckles.
  • Place on a baking tray lined with parchment paper and put a flaked almond into the indent for the fingernail.
  • Tear off a tiny piece from the end of each finger for dramatic effect. Bake in the oven for 12 minutes.
  • For the ‘blood’ (yummy jam), add the raspberries, cranberries and maple syrup to a blender and blend until smooth and silky. Serve in a bowl with the fingers. Remove the flaked almond before serving to little babies.
