These healthy sprinkles are made using natural colour, they are easy and cheap to make and they taste and look sprinkletastiic! Healthy treats for kids.

Ingredients


Method

  • Pre-heat oven to 140ºC
  • Pick the sprinkles you want to make then mix all the ingredients for that colour together. Stir really well then leave aside for about 15 minutes until the coconut absorbs the liquid.
  • Empty onto a baking tray and then repeat with the other colours making sure the colours don’t touch (this gives the most vibrant colours).
  • Bake in the oven for 40 minutes – after 20 minutes give the sprinkles a little toss.
  • Serve over ice cream, cakes, pies, cream custard, muffins, brownies, fruit, yoghurt, smoothies,……. the world needs more sprinkles 😀

Recipe Notes & Tips

Store in a jar with a lid rather than in a plastic bag. This helps keep the sprinkles dry so that they last longer.
