This is how I make the Moistest Baby Friendly Banana Bread EVER 🍌 Sweetened with banana and a few chocolate chips (leave these out if serving as a baby led weaning food). It’s great snack recipe for kids especially when served with a side of Greek yogurt which makes it high in protein, so really filling.

Made using my favourite ingredients from @dunnesstores ❤️

Prep time - 5 minutes
Cook time - 60 minutes
Makes 1 Large Loaf

3 bananas
2 eggs
125ml (1/2 cup) whole milk
100g (1/2 cup) butter

1tsp cinnamon
210g (1+1/2 cups) self-raising flour
1tsp baking soda
100g (1/3 cup) Chocolate chips (optional)

Preheat oven to 180ºC/350ºF.

While still in their skins, press the bananas, then add to a bowl and mash. This makes it much easier to break apart.

Whisk in the eggs, milk and butter, then stir in the dry ingredients until fully combined and smooth. If using chocolate chips you can add at the end. These are completely optional. If serving to babies, you can just leave them out altogether.

Empty the mixture into a loaf tin lined with parchment paper then bake for 60 minutes or until a skewer comes out clean.

Remove from the oven and leave to cool in the tin for roughly one hour.

⏰ We all need a 10 minute dinner for busy days! This is mine and it’s a great one for the entire family from babies to parents. It’s easy to make and packed full of the best of @dunnesstores ingredients.

Prep time - 5 minutes
Cook time - 5 minutes
Serves 2 adults and 2 children

500g Fresh Pasta
120g (1/2 cup) Sun Blush tomatoes
2 cloves garlic
45g (1/3 cup) pumpkin seeds
1tsp Italian Style Herbs
To Serve
Drizzle olive oil
Small handful Grated Parmesan Cheese (for older children)
Fresh basil leaves

1. Cook the pasta as per the pack instructions. Fresh pasta from @dunnesstores cooks in 5 minutes. Drain but reserve 1/2 cup pasta water for the sauce.

2. Add the tomatoes, garlic, pumpkin seeds, fresh herbs and the reserved pasta water to a blender and blend until smooth and silky.

3. Pour the sauce into a pan and stir for about 5 minute so the garlic cooks, then add the pasta and stir until fully coated.

4. To serve, drizzle over a little olive oil, add a sprinkle of parmesan cheese (leave out for babies) and decorate with freshly torn basil leaves.
