Potassium-rich foods such as bananas actually offset the effect of sodium (salt) in raising your blood pressure. This, along with a healthy diet and lifestyle, lowers your risk of heart attack and stroke. Not only that it’s great for adults, but all the more for kids. This blueberry banana baked breakfast oats recipe is the one for the books! This quick and easy meal for kids is a must-try as it contains milk, but if you need dairy free then sub in soy milk or a nut milk such as almond. If you are going to serve this to little ones, under the age of 1 year then substitute the honey for maple syrup.
